Zero tolerance for objectionable content
By creating an account you agree not to post, say, or transmit objectionable content and not to abuse other users. There is no tolerance for it: every report is reviewed within 24 hours, offending content is removed, and the accounts responsible are ejected. Every user can report content and block any other user from inside the app. Hosts are responsible for moderating their own rooms and can mute or remove anyone at any time.
Your account
Seylo is for people aged 17 and over. You sign up with a phone number and are responsible for what is said from your account. One person, one account; impersonating someone else is grounds for removal.
Rooms and speaking
Anyone can open a free room, listen, raise a hand, and speak. Speaking, direct messages, and video calls cost nothing and there is no way to pay for priority in a speaking queue. Hosts moderate their own rooms and may mute or remove participants.
Paid events and tickets
A host may set a ticket price on a scheduled event; listeners buy entry with Coins. This is the only payment in Seylo, and all Coin purchases are made through in-app purchase. Hosts receive a share of ticket revenue as Coins, which are spendable inside Seylo only. An event that has not started can be reserved but not entered.
COINS & REFUNDS
Coins are purchased through in-app purchase in your App Store or Google Play account, and billing is handled by the store — refunds for a Coin purchase are requested from Apple or Google, not from us. Coins are a limited licence to a digital item: they have no monetary value and cannot be withdrawn, transferred, or exchanged for money. If a host cancels an event before it starts, the ticket is returned to you as Coins; once the event has started the ticket is not returned.
Ending your account
Logging out keeps your account, Coins, and tickets. Deleting your account is permanent: profile, follows, messages, and any remaining Coin balance are removed and cannot be restored or converted to money.
Changes to these terms
If we change something that affects your rights or the price of anything, we will say so in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Seylo after that means you accept the updated terms.

Community Guidelines
Rooms are live, so moderation has to be fast. These five rules decide when someone gets muted and when a room is closed.

Real people, real voices
No impersonation, no pretending to be a brand or a public figure, no playing pre-recorded audio as if it were you.

Nothing sexual involving minors, ever
Immediate permanent ban and referral to the relevant authorities. There is no warning step for this.

No harassment or hate
Targeted insults, slurs, threats, or piling on someone in a room gets you muted first and removed if it continues.

Don't sell what isn't yours to sell
No off-platform payment requests, no reselling tickets, no using rooms to run scams or recruit for them.

Reports are read
Reports are reviewed within 24 hours and the reporter is never revealed. Blocking someone also unfollows them and removes them from your feed at once.
